Cat-stratch disease is mostly caused by Gram-negative bacteria Bartonella henselae. In immunocompetent patients, the clinical presentation is generally mild, local, inflammatory skin lesion with regional lymphadenopathy. Among the elderly, debilitated or immunocompromised patients, atypical clinical manifestation and trajectory may occur. A description of such a case is the theme of the presented report.
