Pyoderma gangraenosum is a rare non-infectious inflammatory dermatosis, conditioned by a pathological immune response of the organism, manifested by the formation of painful, rapidly progressing ulcerations with a characteristic appearance. A rare variant is postoperative pyoderma gangraenosum arising in surgical incisions as a pathogenic reaction to skin trauma. The report describes a clinical case of a patient with pyoderma gangraenosum manifesting at the site of an established drain after surgery for left lung adenocarcinoma.
