Atopic eczema from the perspective of an allergist

MUDr.Martin Fuchs
Immunoflow s. r. o., Praha

Allergist should be an integral part of a comprehensive care for atopic eczema. Allergist should prioritize the detection of potential

and right triggers. There are plenty of diagnostic procedures, but the interpretation of results is difficult. The treatment success often

necessarily includes a therapeutic trial, for example the elimination diet, a variety of immunointerventions or even the specific immunotherapy

by etiologically relevant aeroallergens.

Keywords: atopic dermatitis, food allergy, cow’s milk protein allergy, specific IgE, epicutaneous patch tests, elimination-challenge tests
